• Facilitate the coordination of GIS activities amongst federal and state agencies, counties, cities, and tribal governments

• Identify and prepare documents describing strategic directions for Enterprise-wide Geographic Information Systems.

• Supervision of staff

• Collaborate with Wisconsin's GIS community to improve GIS support for public services.

• Partcipate in strategic and tactical planning at the GIO. Represent the enterprise in related statewide taskforces and committees.

• Work with state and local agencies in the planning, coordination, implementation, and management of enterprise GIS services, standards, and architectures.

• Work with all state agencies in the planning, coordination, implementation and management of the state's Geographic Information Systems (GIS) infrastructure.

• Work with DOA’s Bureau of Infrastructure Support staff on GIS support and maintenance.

• Work on Enterprise system designs, standards and implementation for future geospatial business needs.
